Membership Benefits

  • Unlimited access to your home course – being a member gives you the opportunity to play when you like and generally as often as you like.
  • Play competitive golf – only by being a member of a Golf Club can you play regular official Club Competitions. We have a medal every Saturday plus every Wednesday throughout the season.
  • Choose how much you play – as a member you have the freedom to only play 9 holes or smaller loop of 3 or 5 holes as often as you like if you wish, which you would not do if you choose to ‘pay and play’ golf.
  • A great Clubhouse environment – we offer our members a great place to eat, drink and socialize with friends at specially reduced prices.
  • A sense of belonging – as a member of our Golf Club we provide a great way to be part of the local community network with other people from the area.
  • Meet new people – members have a fantastic platform to meet like-minded people, forming life-long friendships.
  • Use of practice facilities & Club pro – you’ll get to improve your game on a regular basis with the free use of the Club’s practice facilities and access to lessons from our PGA qualified Professional at a special members only rate.
  • Reciprocal golf arrangement – as a Club member you automatically receive preferential green fee rates at other Golf Clubs in the surrounding area.
  • Gain an official WHS handicap – only by being a member of a Scottish Golf affiliated golf Club can you attain an official WHS handicap, giving you the opportunity to play competitions at your home course and others.
  • Get your handicap down! – playing competitions regularly at your home Club or in other Open competitions gives you the chance to get your handicap down to your target level which is what most golfers are striving for throughout their life.
  • Play in matches against other Clubs – as a member you will have the opportunity to represent your Club in matches against other clubs in the local area and further afield, whether you are a junior, senior, gent or lady.
  • Invite your friends – we offer all our members preferential rates on green fees, giving you the chance to invite your friends to play your course. As a member there is no limit on the number of guests you invite, although you are restricted to a maximum of 3 at any one time and non members can only be signed on up to 6 times by a member, thereafter they must pay the standard green fee rate for visitors.
