Clydebank & District Golf Course

Our Heritage

Founded in 1905, Clydebank & District Golf Club has been at the heart of the local community for over a century.

Situated in the historic village of Hardgate, the Club has strong connections to the rich industrial heritage of Clydebank. In its early years, support from local engineering and shipbuilding giants helped establish the course and secure its future.

One of the Club's most unique features is its connection to Scotland's ancient past. The remains of the Antonine Wall, the northern frontier of the Roman Empire in Britain, run alongside the course near the 7th hole, providing a fascinating historical backdrop to a round of golf.

Today, Clydebank & District Golf Club combines over 120 years of tradition with a modern, welcoming atmosphere. Members, visitors and societies alike can enjoy a well-maintained course, excellent facilities and the warm hospitality for which the Club is renowned.
